Like so many of you, I take my iPad everywhere. I wanted to share a quick 5 minute iPad cover using washi tape that I made over the weekend. One of the many things I love about my iPad is I can carry it in my pocketbook and always have a book downloaded and ready to go if I get stuck at a doctor’s appointment, or have a scheduled pedicure. I have a keyboard attached and use it for blogging as well.  I love having the keyboard, as it is like a mini laptop. The only time I have to break out the laptop is to transfer photos. I have to look into a transfer cable from a DSLR to an iPad. If anybody knows if they have one, please leave me a message. That would be a huge help! Here is a link to a similar keyboard if you are interested:

The back of the keyboard became really scratched and worn. I wanted to cover the keyboard, but not the iPad as I like the gold.  I couldn’t find a cover that would just fit the keyboard, so I decided to use washi tape to cover it. You can cover the entire iPad if you like, but I also didn’t want to deal with cutting out the holes for the camera and volume buttons, so I just covered the keyboard.

iPad cover washi tape

I found this wide washi tape at Michael’s. I love the blue color. I also like to use a stylus, but always seem to lose it, so I attached velcro to the stylus and iPad so that the stylus is always handy, but also out of the way if I don’t want to use it.

I found a pack of 10 stylus’ at Five Below FOR $5! Can’t beat that! I hope you liked this quick and easy iPad cover! Have a great day.

So cute! What a great idea. I love Washi tape and have a lot of the more narrow kind but none of the wide, so now I will be looking for that when I visit Michaels. #HomeMattersParty
