It’s time for another Create with Me challenge! Last month you voted for us to use glass etching cream in this month’s challenge. Can’t wait to see what the other bloggers come up with!
I just happened to have a bottle of Armour Etch which you can find here:
With the Holiday season rapidly approaching, I am always thinking of projects that can be used in gift giving. This project is perfect for that. Now, I am also conscious to stay within budget. The Dollar Tree is a great place for crafters. You can take the ordinary and make it extraordinary. Let me show you how easy it is to create a beautiful gift that the recipient will love!
I picked up a glass plate and mug at The Dollar Tree. With all the house parties coming up, I never show up empty handed. It is either a bottle of wine or a baked good. For this project I decided to use the plate to bring dessert to the hostess. The Plate can be kept as a hostess gift! As a few of the houses I will be visiting this year have little kids, I thought it would be fun to make a Cookies For Santa plate. We all know Santa can’t have cookies without milk, so I also created a Milk for Santa mug!

I followed the directions pretty much to a T on the bottle, however, I did leave the cream on for 20 minutes, rather than 10.
I used my Cricut Explore Air for the stencils. One of the many things I love about owning a Cricut is I can create stencils in no time with any words I want. It saves so much money in the long run as a crafter.
I am so pleased with how these came out and will definitely be making a couple more sets for gift giving. Now strictly for photo purposes only 😜 I had to bake some cookies. Here it is all set up for Santa:
