How To Make A Clay Pot Wreath

Sharing is caring!

This clay pot wreath that was totally inspired by Robin from All Things Heart And Home. I used various size clay pots attaching to a grapevine wreath with floral wire.

I was able to find the smallest clay pots at The Dollar Tree to keep costs down. They actually come in packs of two.  I also picked up the dried moss at The Dollar Tree as well.

One tip I have is be sure to attach the clay pots really well. I ran the wire through the hole on the bottom of the clay pot and wrapped it around several times.

I knew I would hang this on my front door, so it would be open and shut several times a day. I didn’t want any of the pots to fall and break.

I filled the pots snugly with moss and just added a few ceramic birds and nests for pops of color. I also used a few faux succulents.

I also aged some of the pots with a sponge and green and white paint.

DIY CLAY POT AND SUCCULENT WREATH

This was such a fun wreath to make. I think it is an unexpected wreath for your front door. Here it is on mine:

I changed out the plain burlap bow for this pretty chevron bow which really pops against the green door. Thank you so much for visiting OurCraftyMom! Hope you will visit again. If you like this project please share! I would also love if you would follow me on social media.
