I am determined to finish all the curtains throughout the Townhouse. I showed the no sew burlap curtain in the kitchen & now I finished the upstairs bathroom curtain. I saw a cute picture on the Better Homes & Gardens website a long time ago-at least a year ago-where they used vintage handkerchiefs on a simple curtain rod with clips. I thought this was a cute idea & as the window already had blinds for privacy this would be more for decorative purposes. I didn’t have handkerchief’s but I did have a stash of fabric. I had some beautiful fabric from Stampin’ Up! as well as some blue & white cotton that I had picked up at Hobby Lobby some time ago. I simply cut the fabric in a large square & folded in a triangle. I used four large pieces. I wrapped an inexpensive curtain rod in Stampin’ Up! seam binding ribbon in a coordinating blue color & simply clipped the fabric to the rod. I think it is a cute, inexpensive way to dress up a small window.
