FAUX FUR COVERED BENCH

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to Our Crafty Mom! I have always loved flokati rugs and have been wanting to recover an old bench I have had forever in this faux fur. I picked some up beautiful faux fur at Joann Fabrics for 60% off. What a steal! This bench started out in a tapestry fabric about 25 years ago. It has beautiful legs and is a very solid piece. I just needed to tighten up the legs a little bit.  I originally gave it an update last year when I recovered it in a muslin fabric that I stamped french images on. I liked it, but I got bored with it and knew this was perfect bench for my new faux fur fabric.

Isn’t it so much more modern and fresh? I just love how it turned out and it was so easy. Nothing but a staple gun needed to secure the faux fur to the bench. It already had a nice padding.

I didn’t paint the legs as I really liked the dark finish. The white really pops against the dark legs.

That is so cool. I like the juxtaposition of the traditional legs and the wild fur. Love the pillow too, so cute! Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday!
