Today I am very excited to share this awesome french script stenciled Mercury glass art upcycled from a thrift store frame.
I was able to choose the stencil that I wanted up to $50! How awesome is that?!! I have always loved french graphics and was immediately drawn to this beautiful french poem.
However, there were so many beautiful stencils I had a tough time narrowing it down!

I received my order within a week and not only did it come packaged great-but they also gave me two small free stencils that go perfectly with this French style!
Let me just say, I have been using stencils for years-you know, bought at the big box stores with a 40% off coupon?
Ladies, there is something to be said in buying a product from a Company that specializes in that product! You ready to see the before? This was a $5 thrift store find:
First I gave the picture a couple of coats of spray paint using Krylon metallic chrome spray paint
I used vinegar to get the “mottled” effect of Mercury glass. I then taped the stencil to the picture with painters tape and used this Gold paint pen to color in the stencil.
There was no bleeding at all, which has been a problem with stencils I have used in the past.
Here it is featured on Cutting Edge Stencils website! Of course, this totally made my day!
I am in love with this original piece of art. It looks just lovely in my living room!
Thank you so much for visiting!
