OUTDOOR FRONT ENTRY DECORATING

This has probably been one of the worst Winters ever in New England. As soon as the weather broke I started thinking about ideas for the back deck & front entry.  I kept the DIY Sign I had for Winter, but flipped it around & stenciled “Welcome”-love when things can serve double duty! I found this beautiful purple plant at a local nursery in a clay pot & stood it on a large clay pot turned upside down at the front steps. I have had this wrought iron plant stand for years & it found a home right by the front door. I filled it with cocoa lining & some beautiful mixed flowers. I added petunias to the beautiful old washtub that I hung from an iron hook. I saw some cool ideas on Pinterest to make it look like the flowers were spilling out of the tub & love how it turned out. My clay pot wreath that I showed last year looks right at home on my front door. I added a burlap bow  & called it a day. Hopefully, the flowers will last through the Summer-I tend to get lazy with the watering come July 🙂
