How To Make A Pretty Burlap Lace Wreath

Sharing is caring!

Today I will show you How To Make A Pretty Burlap Lace Wreath as part of the Craft Room De-Stash Challenge.

I received product from BurlapFabric.com used in this post, however all opinions are 100% mine.

A huge thank you to Megan of C’mon Get Crafty for organizing this challenge. The rules were to use items you already had on hand or had been hoarding in your craft room! You can not spend more than $10. Crafters are kind of known for hoarding supplies, but it’s ok. We are hitting our “stash” and sharing what we made with you.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love Burlap-any color, any style, plain, lace, wired. So of course I’ve been stashing Burlap! But this Burlap is very special-just look at what I made using three types of burlap:

See what I mean? Just look at that lace Burlap and hello-did you know they had Burlap netting? When BurlapFabric.com reached out to me I was thrilled! However, I did not expect to see the incredible selection on their website. Not only do they have Burlap of every kind, but they have gorgeous fabric and ribbon among other things. Here is an easy tutorial for this wreath:

Supplies

Burlap Rolls-here are links to what I used:

Burlap Lace Ribbon

Net Burlap Ribbon

Off-White Burlap Ribbon

Silk Flowers

Wire Wreath Form (Dollar Store)

Pipe Cleaners (Dollar Store)

Hot Glue

Start with the off white Burlap and tie one end to the outer ring of the wreath base. Work in 12″ sections and use pipe cleaners to attach to the wreath base. I really just covered the entire wreath and then loosened it a little to give it some volume. Next use the Burlap and Lace Ribbon and weave it through again using pipe cleaners.

Finish off with the Burlap netting wrapping it around the wreath evenly. You can leave it as is or continue to add silk flowers like I did using hot glue.
