How To Make An Adorable Pallet Wood Spring Bunny Sign

Sharing is caring!

Today I have a fun project to share. I will show you How To Make An Adorable Pallet Wood Spring Bunny Sign.

This Pallet Wood Spring Bunny Sign is such a pretty addition to your Spring and Easter decor.

It’s not only super easy to make, but it’s also inexpensive.

Keep an eye out at yard sales, flea markets, or even the side of the road, for old pallets. With just a few easy alterations, they make great wood signs.

If you don’t have access to pallets, or just want to save a few steps, you can now buy unfinished pallet wood signs online, or at craft stores.

Then, it’s just a matter of deciding what color paint you want to use. I really love the look of pastels for Spring.

Using different colors really steps up the cute factor of this sweet bunny sign!

Supplies Needed to Make a Wood Pallet Sign

Spring Bunny Wood Sign

Start with a wood frame. You can buy some premade at the craft store or use pallet wood to DIY your own.

My Dad makes these wood signs for me. Sometimes he uses pallet wood, but for this one, he had some extra wood on hand from the DIY Rustic Frames shown here.

Next print out a bunny image that you like and that is the right size for your wood sign. Here is the one I used:

I wanted the bunny to be white, so I painted the wood white only where the bunny would be and then placed the bunny image on the wood, using a little spray adhesive to temporarily attach it:

Then paint the wood the colors that you like. As this is a Spring sign, I went with pretty pastel colors.

Remove the bunny, add some cotton or batting for the tail and you are done!

This adorable bunny sign can be hung or is heavy enough that it can be freestanding as well.

Also, if pastels are not your thing, you can paint the pallet wood any colors that you like.

Some refer to these bunny crafts as a bunny butt, because you are seeing it from behind.

You have to see the Spring hoop bunny wreath I recently made. It’s absolutely the cutest!

One of my most popular spring crafts is this clay pot bunny butt:

Love the pastel colors in this sign. Uses all the pretty colors that one would associate with spring. Will be featuring this in this week's MM roundup.
