How To Make A Paper Butterfly Mobile

Sharing is caring!

I am working on items for an artisan event and continue to make items for a baby’s room. I think it’s always fun to put unique, handmade items in a baby’s room-at least until they are big enough to pull it down!

I saw some cool mobiles on Pinterest & thought I’d make a blue & a pink butterfly mobile. I finished the pink & think it is so sweet! It was not difficult to make, but very time consuming.

In fact, my hands were hurting from tying all the knots, but as always, the satisfaction from seeing the final project is so rewarding. I used the Stampin’ Up! Big Shot Butterfly Die as well as SU bakers twine.

I had an old circle form (knew I was saving it for something) & tied ribbon & tulle around it. I added rhinestones to the butterfly’s for some sparkle! I tied tulle together for easy hanging. Hopefully this will make some new Mom happy 🙂
