I had so much fun creating these fun Paper Dahlia Flowers. As I mentioned in the last post about the Marquee Lights, my daughter Amanda & her roommate Becca have been finding some great ideas for their dorm room. I am doing my best to recreate some of the ideas, while staying on a budget. Pinterest is so helpful!

Becca found these gorgeous paper dahlias with a great tutorial

We went to Michaels & they had a perfect pallet of paper on sale for $2.00! Love when that happens! I recreated these in the colors  they wanted. I thought 3 above each bed would be perfect:

In case you missed the marquee lights, the colors will look great with these:

I picked up one of those plastic bins that are so necessary for storage in a dorm  room. While necessary, they are  not very pretty. However, with the  addition of decorative duct tape found at The Dollar Tree,  it is now a fun, accent piece.

Here is a great idea for all that loose change they always seem to
collect:

They can use this for late night vending machine runs.
Both girls are huge makeup fans.  Becca saw this cool, fun artwork using fake eyelashes.  Here is my Dollar Tree version:

We like to set up a coffee station for the girls & any guests, so my daughter is lucky enough to bring a Keurig with her. I thought it would be fun to make up some actual coffee mugs with their initials. I love making these & actually made some coastal ones for my home as shown here:

The third mug is for Joseph shown in this picture with Amanda & Becca. How cute are they? I call them the Three Musketeers. They are always together & are like siblings. This will be the second year Amanda is rooming with Becca & I am so thankful they get along so well. It makes it easier being in another State knowing she has a friend looking out for her, but of course I still worry!

Here is the bedding both girls chose:

Thanks Jamie. I move my daughter back in this weekend and we have so much fun decorating her room. This year she has a single so we have more freedom with what we can do!
