Update An Old Cane Bench With Annie Sloan Louis Blue Paint
During my recent visit to NH I found some great deals at a local Thrift Store. One such deal was this old cane bench for $5!
I know a lot of readers don’t like to paint old pieces, but I wouldn’t have bought it otherwise as it was not my style.
But it was a good solid piece.
I taped off the wood & spray painted the seat in white, then gave the rest a couple of coats of ASCP in Louis Blue-think this is my new favorite color.
I still have to wax it in clear, but am so happy with this makeover!
