OURCRAFTYMOM.COM

START WITH A DOLLAR STORE POOL NOODLE.

01

CUT THE POOL NOODLE ABOUT 3/4" FOR THE DONUT.

02

SPACKLE AND PAINT

Begin by adding white acrylic paint to dollar store spackle. Mix until well-blended.  *Tip: Change out the color for pink frosting, chocolate frosting, etc.

spread a layer of the spackle and paint mixture on donut.

04

DECORATE THE DONUT

Continue adding the spackle mixture until you have a nice even layer.  *TIP: Use the back of a spoon to give it texture.

ADD THE SPRINKLES

Use whatever color sprinkles you like. I went with pastel stars to go with my Christmas tree theme.   *TIP: Use a pink pool noodle with gold sprinkles for a glam look, or a red pool noodle with classic Christmas colors.

LET DRY OVERNIGHT.

Add a Hook for Hanging

Use a colored paper clip to hang the ornament. You can also use Christmas hooks.

Decorate with your ornament...

You can add ribbon to the ornament if you want. Hang it on your tree, or attach it to a gift for an extra little gift idea.

Create a Candyland or bakery themed tree.  Great for a kid's tabletop tree.

PERFECT FOR A THEMED TREE

Add twine for hanging!
