How to Make

DIY EASTER GNOME THAT IS NO-SEW!

SUPPLIES FOR DIY EASTER GNOME

Foam Cone  Old Shirt Faux Fur  Bunny Ears  Wood Bead  Bunny Slippers Wooden Dowels Hot Glue Gun Craft Knife

STEP 1. MAKE THE GNOME BODY

Take your shirt and lay it flat. Place your cone on top of it and cut around it.

STEP 2. GLUE THE EDGES

Use your hot glue gun to secure the edges. You want to fold the edges under so you have a nice finished edge.

STEP 3. MAKE THE GNOME BEARD

Use a craft knife to cut just the backing on the fur and not the fur itself. You don't want it to have a straight edge.

STEP 4. ANGLE THE BEARD

You also want to cut the fur so it is angled and comes to a point for the bottom of the beard.

STEP 5. MAKE THE GNOME HAT

Cut a shirt sleeve for the gnome hat. Cut it at on a diagonal line which will work perfectly for your bunny gnome. I wanted a slouchy hat for this little guy so I glued the back of the hat and let it hang to one side.

STEP 6. SECURE THE BUNNY EARS

Keep an eye out at craft stores for bunny headbands. They are perfect to use for Easter bunny gnomes! Just cut them from the headband and glue them to the bottom of the gnome hat.

STEP 7. ADD THE NOSE

Hot glue a wood bead or pom pom for a nose just below the hat. Fold the bottom of the hat for a cuff.

STEP 8. SECURE THE BUNNY SLIPPERS

Because this is a large standing gnome, you need to put dowels in the bottom of the foam body and secure them to foam in the bunny slippers.

ENJOY YOUR ADORABLE EASTER BUNNY GNOME!
