How to Create

Upcycled Old Window Wall Art

– Old Window – look at thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets – Burnishing tool or squeegee – Dixie Belle Spring Flowers Decoupage Rice Paper

SUPPLIES FOR OLD WINDOW WALL ART

STEP 1.

Decide where you want your rice decoupage paper to go. I decided to put it along the bottom of the old window so I could still add a wreath.

STEP 2. TRACE THE FLOWER POT

Cut the border off of your decoupage paper.

STEP 3.

Apply Clear Coat on the area where you want to place the decoupage paper. You can also use mod podge.

You can use a foam brush for this. Be generous with the clear coat, but don’t over due it.

STEP 4.

Place the decoupage paper on top of the Clear Coat and use your squeegee tool to smooth out any wrinkles.

STEP 5.

Apply another layer of Clear Coat on top of the Premium Rice Decoupage paper.

STEP 6.

Once paper is activated with Clear Coat you can gently tear any excess rice paper.

STEP 7.

Allow the Clear Coat to dry about an hour. Will cure completely in 21 days.Hang and enjoy!
