How to Make

HALLOWEEN BAT PILLOW

Do you love the Halloween pillows at Pottery Barn but not the price? Now you can make your own for a fraction of the price! Here's how...

SUPPLIES

– Black Sherpa – Poly-fil – Fabric Scissors – Rhinestones – Hot Glue Gun

STEP 1. CREATE A TEMPLATE

Print out a template of a bat if you like, however, I used a dollar store bat that my daughter had.

STEP 2. CUT THE FABRIC

Now it’s time to cut your fabric. Fold the fabric in half so you have two even pieces for the pillow.

STEP 3. GLUE THE BAT BODY

Line up the pieces so the sherpa is facing out on each side. Begin gluing the bottom of the bat.

STEP 4.  GLUE THE WINGS

Continue gluing the bat in small sections around the wings until you reach the bat head.

STEP 5. STUFF THE PILLOW

Fill the bat pillow with poly-fil. You can also use stuffing from an old pillow.

STEP 6. GLUE BAT CLOSED

Finish stuffing the bats head then glue closed. Touch up any areas that need more glue.

STEP 7. ATTACH EYES

Hot glue a pair of rhinestones to the bat for shimmer eyes.

Decorate with your new no-sew bat pillow!
