I found this awesome glass bottle at Job Lot for $5. They called it a “moonshine bottle” which I thought was funny, but it looked like a demijohn to me. I kick myself for not buying the blue one too as when I went back to get it they were gone! Well, I was browsing my new Ballard’s catalog and spotted demijohns being sold for $79.99. I’ve seen them in an old Ballard’s catalog with knotted jute & thought I would try to duplicate it in my fall decor. I use a lot of natural materials like burlap and thought jute would look great. I searched online for a tutorial & sure enough found one at one of my favorite blogs https://www.craftberrybush.com/2011/08/how-to-sew-fish-netinadvertent-knotted.html?&cuid=c19410c17891cbab8f90ec6d9eaf9bdb
It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but once I did it went quick. I did the smaller bottle in no time. Thanks Lucy for the great tutorial!
