We are back with the Movie Monday Challenge and with Valentine’s Day next month, our theme is Romance Movies.
One of my all time favorite Romance Movies ever is The Notebook and it’s not just because of Ryan Gosling!
There were so many romantic and memorable quotes from the movie.
I thought it would be fun to make a few DIY Valentine’s Day Bookmarks Inspired By The Notebook.
Here are the pretty bookmarks inspired by The Notebook:

DIY Valentine’s Day Bookmarks Inspired By The Notebook
Supplies
- Paint Chip Sample Cards
- Rubber Stamps
- Ink Pads
You know I am always looking for ways to create without spending much money.
For the bookmarks I used paint chip cards and chose cards that had appropriate romantic sayings:
A memorable scene from The Notebook was this scene:
With the quote “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird”, so I created a bookmark with a bird image and just wrote the quote on it:
Another fun scene from the movie was when they went for a bike ride with friends:
I was thrilled when I remembered I had this adorable rubber stamp in my stash:
I think this may be one of my favorite. I just love the bicycle image! Doesn’t it seem perfect for this movie scene?
Of course you can’t have a romance movie without flowers and this flower stamp is so soft and pretty:
I hope you enjoyed this post and will check out the other talented bloggers linked up below.
I would love to hear what your favorite Romance Movie is.
Leave me a comment and let me know. Have a great day!

On the last (or fourth) Monday of each month, a group of bloggers participate in a #MovieMondayChallenge, hosted by C’mon Get Crafty! We decide on a topic, genre, or specific movie to use for inspiration and everyone gets free reign to create something wonderful!
This month’s challenge was. . . . “Romance! Everyone was allowed to choose their own favorite romantic film for this challenge.

These are lovely. I'm a little confused though...did you stamp the back of the paint chip cards? And how did you get the beautiful color blends? Although it might be dangerous to tell me since I don't need another crafting medium to add to my stash...lol.

Yes, I stamped the back of the paint chip cards. I used sponge daubers (shown in the picture) with ink pads to make the blend. I was a Stampin’ Up demonstrator for several years so I have a lot of supplies, lol. As I was cleaning out my stash I found a bunch of stuff!

I've actually never seen this movie, even though I have it! I love the DIY bookmarks, they really capture that romantic element.

These bookmarks are beautiful Michelle. I didn't think they were stamped but printed. I love what you did here.
I don't watch romantic movies but with your recommendation, I need to give this one a try.
