I have a special post today. Like so many of you, one of my favorite shows is Fixer Upper. It is so fun to see the transformation of the homes from start to finish! My favorite part is definitely when Joanna comes in at the end and does the decorating.  I always admire the lighting. I really think lighting can make or break a room. Today we are visiting my Sister and Brother-in-law’s home as I share their updated guest room light.   They have lived in their beautiful Colonial about 18 years and as you know when you own a home for that long, you really need to refresh or update things, especially paint and lighting!  They have slowly been tackling each room and recently finished their guest room.  One thing I love about having a DIY/Home Decor blog is you have the opportunity to work with wonderful companies. One such company is Parrot Uncle who agreed to provide a light for this project.  It really was difficult to choose a light as the selection is wonderful! Hello lovely! They have a larger 19″ size, but as this is not a large room, we felt the smaller 14″ size would be a better fit. Isn’t it beautiful?   It is just perfect for the space!
