I made these pumpkins last season, but was new to the blogging world so never linked them up to any parties. I really think they make a big impact & thought I would share how simple these are to make. I originally saw this idea on Pinterest & just tweaked them a little with things I had on hand for the base.
I purchased the pumpkins on sale at Michael’s and was looking around in my garage for a base that was big enough & didn’t have any pots that fit right. I did, however, have plenty of old 5 gallon buckets so I simply covered them in burlap tucking the top inside the bucket. I then attached the large pumpkin snug into the bucket & to attach the smaller pumpkin I cut out a small hole big enough to fit on the stem of the large pumpkin. I then just hot glued leaves around the pumpkins. I love these & know I will use them year after year. They would even look great flanking a fireplace. Fall is
definitely my favorite season to decorate!
