Make Over A Chandelier With Mason Jars

Sharing is caring!

Welcome to Our Crafty  Mom! I purchased a wrought iron chandelier for my eat in kitchen, changing out a broken ceiling fan. The chandelier didn’t come with any shades  and while I loved the white wrought iron, I felt it needed something over the bulbs. I was planning on picking up shades for the 5 arms, but I really love the look of mason jars on pretty much anything. I tested it out and it was like it was meant to be! The mouth of the mason jars fit perfectly on the arms of the chandelier. Love when that happens!

I used Ball Wide Mouth Quart (32 oz) Jars with Lids and Bands, Set of 12  and E6000 230010 Craft Adhesive, 3.7 Fluid Ounces to adhere the mason jars to the chandelier. E-6000 is a really strong adhesive and I use it quite often-especially if I am unable to use my glue gun. I spray painted the covers white and added smaller bulbs to fit.
