I had two beautiful chairs that I bought at an antique store last year to go in my old purple bedroom. They are painted in Annie Sloan Paris Grey & I love them.
However, the fabric was lavender & as my color scheme in the new house has changed, they didn’t go with anything.
I went to Joanne Fabrics & bought a yard of fabric in the same pattern as my new rug from Target, but in a nice shade of blue. With a yard of fabric I was able to cover both chairs & make a lampshade also.
How To Recover Thrift Store Chairs With New Fabric
I used a Sharpie Paint Pen in royal to paint the nail heads. I love the pop of color this gives the room. My couch was just delivered Friday & I am so thankful we can finally enjoy the living room.
The couch is very traditional with rolled arms & nail head trim. This style is very different from my old space, but with the dark wood floors it just felt like traditional was the way to go.
