SPRING MANTLE 2015

We continue to get hit with snow in New England, but I am so ready for Spring! I figured I would decorate the mantle & at least bring Spring inside!

 

 

 

 

 

I have found some great items at the thrift store the last few times I have gone. Some things are just meant to be-like the beautiful silver/gold ornate mirror I scored for $3! If you look closely, you will see it is actually two pieces. The mirror fit perfectly inside the ornate frame I already had over the mantel, making it look like one piece-love when that happens! I moved my peep wreath over the mantle as it looked plain without a wreath. Plus, I think it is so cute it should be front & center! I made the banner last year using images from https://thegraphicsfairy.com. She has the most beautiful images. I found the adorable plate at Homegoods for a steal. I am still loving the DIY blocks-they are so versatile.
