I showed my Winter Mantel a few days ago & thought I would show a few winter decorating ideas that transition nicely from Christmas until Valentine’s Day decor goes up.
I was able to update alot of my Christmas decor by just putting a few things away & adding a few things, so it didn’t take much time at all.
I was able to leave out the outdoor vignette & simply flipped over the “Believe” sign & stenciled “let it snow”. I love when a sign serves double duty.
WINTER DECORATING IDEAS
I also reuse these great diy wood blocks for all occasions. There are letters on all 4 sides & they can spell out about 12 different words. I spelled “Winter” above the armoire & hung the knock off pom pom wreath on the front.
For the space in my entry hall I made a quick & easy paper snowflake wreath using a Big Shot Die that my friend Cindy let me borrow. I hung it inside an open frame to conceal the thermostat which is right smack in the middle of this wall! I love the cotton stems that I picked up at Michael’s. They just remind me of snow!
