Thank you for visiting Our Crafty Mom. I have a fun, easy bud vase project for you today! I love to cut fresh flowers from the yard, or pick up some flowers at the farmers market as a treat! They just make me smile. I had some test tubes left over from fresh spices I picked up and thought they would be cute to use as bud vases. Of course I searched Pinterest for inspiration and they did not disappoint! I decided to attach a test tube bud vase to a narrow piece of wood. Here is the finished project:

I love them! I will be bringing some to the shop as I think they would make a nice gift. Put them by the front door or in a narrow, unloved space for a nice pop of sunshine! Here are the supplies if you want to make your own:

Pine Board 1/2x4x3 cut in 3 12″ pieces

Acryclic Paint of your choice

1/2″ clamps

1/2″ screws

sawtooth picture hanger

painters tape

I gave each board a light coat of Decoart chalky finish paint in Everlasting. I then taped off a geometric design and used Americana acrylic paint in turquoise and ivory. Once this dried I attached the sawtooth hanger to the back and the clamp where the vase was centered. Add a little water and your flower, hang it where you want and enjoy! I hope you enjoy this hanging bud vase!
