Last week I had to have “the talk” with my 23 yo daughter.
The talk about her coffee budget.
She works full-time and is also a grad student, so she runs on coffee.
But let’s think about how expensive a daily coffee run is.
She gets a large iced coffee that is about $4.
Of course she’ll add a donut or muffin to it, so it’s easily $6-$7 a day.
Basically $200 a month on something she could easily make at home.
So when she moved into her new apartment, we set her up with a Keurig and her favorite k-cups.
I even ordered flavored syrups.
Don’t forget a cute to go coffee mug. I’ve agreed with her that all bets are off when it’s pumpkin spice latte in the fall.
