These Halloween table decorating ideas are a simple and fun way to celebrate the season.
I’m sharing Halloween table decorating ideas as part of a fun Halloween tablescape blog hop hosted by my talented friend Chloe, from Celebrate and Decorate.

If you’ve visited here before, you know I love to decorate for each season and holiday. While I don’t decorate as much for Halloween as I do for other holidays, I love to set a festive table.
I’m sure Halloween looks very different for most of you this year, especially if you have kids at home.
One way to still celebrate is to have a festive Halloween themed dinner. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy. Even enjoying your favorite pizza on DIY Halloween plates makes for a fun night.
They are so easy to make with a Cricut cutting machine. Serve up a witches brew cocktail for the adults and make the kiddos a non-alcoholic Shirley Temple.
Halloween Table Decorating Ideas
I love to share budget-friendly decorating tips. Staying on a budget is one of the ways I can continue to bring fun and easy ideas to you!
For me, that means shopping at thrift stores, including Dollar Tree. If you also like dollar store crafts, we would love you to join our All Things Dollar Store Facebook Group.
You can share your finds and ideas with us, and get inspiration for your home!
Here is what I used for this simple table:
- Black Dinner Plates
- Buffalo Check Charger Plates
- Halloween Crate and Apothecary Jars
- Halloween Fabric
- Skulls
- Mason Jar With Spider
Start with a Halloween themed fabric from the craft store to add layers and texture. Don’t forget your coupon!
Create a Halloween centerpiece
I used a cool wood crate and filled it with black webbing, skulls and a lighted mason jar, all from the dollar store.
I love how the wood apothecary jars look in the crate. They also help to add height.
Add accessories.
The little cupcake holders are perfect for mini pumpkins. They bring out the pops of orange in the accessories too. Though, I will definitely have cupcakes when it’s Halloween!
How fun is this pillow?
The main thing I always say when decorating your home is, there are no rules to follow, no right or wrong. Decorate with things that make you happy and bring joy to your family!

How festive and cozy! The tablecover sets the scene for a fun and relaxing meal with family and friends. I was also drawn to the crate full of goodies in the center and the mason jar cutouts. Thanks for sharing these practical ideas.

Michelle, You are so right, when styling a table, or actually, anything in your home, there are no rules! I am all about doing your own thing! Your table is so cute, those wood"jars" are the perfect addition to your crate of decor!

What a creative way to put together a great Halloween table with a budget in mind. The crate and skull centerpiece certainly makes a superb spooky statement to your table. It is perfect with your mix of patterns and pop of orange color in your mini pumpkins. Awesome and eerie.
