How To Make A DIY Valentine’s Day Wreath

Let’s make a beautiful DIY Valentine’s Day wreath using leftover Christmas ornaments. This is a simple and affordable craft project.

We all love a good repurposed craft project and this one checks all the boxes. It’s quick, easy and inexpensive, but looks so pretty with a pink and silver color scheme.

How To Make A Valentine’s Day Wreath

Supplies

• 4 boxes of ornament balls-8 in each box – check the after Christmas sales for great deals!
• Heart Shape Form – Dollar Tree
• Heart Doilies
• Hot Glue Gun

One thing I started doing a few years ago was picking up supplies after Christmas that could be used for Valentine’s Day.

Think red and white ribbon and ornaments. For some reason I don’t like using red in my home. I always love it whenever I see it in other homes, but I prefer neutrals and blues.

However, as soon as I saw these beautiful pink ornaments at the craft store I fell in love!

I placed a poster board down so the hot glue didn’t get on my table. Remove the hangers from the ornaments and then just start hot glueing the ornaments in an alternating pattern ensuring that you are keeping with the heart shape. 

The color of these ornaments are so pretty. Lots of bling for Valentine’s Day.

Unfortunately I did not buy enough of the pink ornaments and used some silver and pearl gray that I had on hand.

It actually gives it a nice contrast. 

Finally, just add paper doilies around the wreath if you want. You can totally skip this step, but I felt it gave it that old school Valentine’s Day look with them included. 

The grand total of this Valentine’s Day Wreath was $9. Love when I can make things on a small budget.
