Adorable baby shower decorations made with a Cricut including DIY onesies and fun party games for the perfect Schitt’s Creek themed shower!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Cricut. All opinions are 100% mine. Please read my full disclosure here.
My niece and her husband are huge Schitt’s Creek fans. So when it was time to plan their baby shower, her friends went all in with a Schitt’s Creek baby shower theme!
When I tell you this was the coolest baby shower I’ve attended, I am not exaggerating!
The main thing used to make just about all of the great decor was a Cricut machine and a ton of creativity!
Cricut Baby Shower Decorations
While these shower decorating ideas were made with a pink and white color scheme for a girl’s baby shower, they can easily be adjusted for a gender-neutral shower.
Or go with a classic blue and white color scheme for a boy.
Cricut machines are perfect for crafting personalized decorations, invitations, and favors that will make your baby shower stand out from the rest.
Plus, with all of the amazing designs that are available on Cricut Access, it’s easy to find something that fits your theme and style.
So if you’re looking for a fun and creative way to celebrate a new arrival, planning a Cricut baby shower is definitely the way to go!
Let’s get started with a pic of the proud parents-to-be (now mommy and daddy)!
Create a Onesie Station
A fun way to include guests in the shower, and also make something that the parents can use, is to set up a onesie station with a Cricut cutting machine and EasyPress.
To save time, have a selection of designs ready to go that the guests can choose from. Cricut even carries baby onesies as the perfect blank to go along with their infusible ink line.
Check out these adorable onesies all made with Schitt’s Creek quotes:
If you are a Schitt’s Creek fan, I’m sure you recognize these. Sidenote: if you haven’t watched the series yet, it is hysterical so you totally should!
My entire family are fans of the show so I put together a Schitt’s Creek Gift Guide with all items under $25
Probably one of the most popular quotes perfect for a baby shower or wedding shower is “love that journey for you”.
Check out the cool way the onesies were displayed with balloons:
The King Apothecary leather jacket was not made with a Cricut, but was painted by a friend. Isn’t it just darling?
Baby Shower Games with Cricut
You have to include baby shower games. Here are a couple of cute themed ideas:
Even the prizes for the games were made with Cricut and the Schitt’s Creek theme including coffee mugs and coasters.
Baby Shower Cake Banner with Cricut
Add cupcake toppers, food labels, and a cake banner all made with your Cricut cutting machine.
I LOVE this cake topper:
For those of you that are wondering-the cake was just as delicious as it looks!
These incredible cookies were handmade by my niece’s friend and party co-host. They were even prettier in person.
Look at the geode style. Such a talent.
If you are local to the Fort Collins, CO area and are interested in ordering your own, leave a comment below and I will send you her contact information.
Baby Shower Popcorn Favors
Bags of yummy popcorn with “she’s about to pop” Cricut sticker labels made the best party favors.
The Rose Apothecary labels give that Schitt’s Creek finish.
Custom Invitations and Thank you Cards
Save a ton of money by making your own baby shower invitations and thank you cards.
Of course, I had to add a few embellishments to block out the address, but these custom invites have an elegant look-very Schitt’s Creek-like.
I hope these customized baby shower decorations inspired you to fire up your Cricut and create your own decorations.
It is so much more meaningful to the guest of honor to know that all of the details were made with them in mind.
Think about holiday events (hello family t-shirts), or a New Year’s Eve party!
A Cricut cutting machine can make party planning so much easier and save money.
Thank you so much for visiting. Happy crafting!
