Spring Tablescape With Pink Roses
Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unusual places and this time that was the small local grocery store in Town. I very rarely shop there because it is a little pricey, but I popped in to grab just a few things for dinner.
Boy, am I glad I did, because they had the most amazing floral section. It was seriously similar to Trader Joe’s, which is one of my favorites for seasonal flowers.
As soon as I saw the big bouquet of pink roses with eucalyptus, my Spring tablescape idea came together. Don’t you love when that happens?
What better vessel to place them in than white ironstone pitchers. I’ve been collecting them whenever I see them for a decent price. The white with the navy trim and the distressing is my favorite.
Four pitchers were used that went up in size, so they created a really cool centerpiece for the Spring tablescape. Simply place gray gingham napkins opened up as a runner.
I love the look of gingham with ironstone and pink roses. It just screams Spring to me and makes me want to bake a cherry pie for some reason.
Now that we had the centerpiece all ready, it was time to decide on the place setting. I chose to go with white basketweave ironstone dishes and adorable bunny dishes that I bought last year at an after Easter clearance.
The wood chargers that I love completed the place setting.
Shop the look:
This little bunny plate is my favorite-he just looks like he’s getting into mischief and reminds me of Peter Rabbit-my kids favorite story when they were little.
Can I tell you how stoked I was to find the gold silverware on clearance at Hobby Lobby last year after Christmas. They were $22 a set of 5 and I needed 6 sets, so I refused to pay that.
Lo and behold, I returned after Christmas and they were $3! So I have a nice set of 6 for under $20! Sometimes it pays to be thrifty!
You know I like to send the guests home with a little treat so I made strawberry yogurt covered pretzels and placed them in cute little jars with a chalkboard front.
I will add their name once I know who will be coming, lol!
Hopefully there were some ideas to inspire you this Spring. You never know where you will find an inspiration piece to use. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will stop by to visit the other bloggers. Have a great day!
