I have a tradition of making Christmas ornaments for friends & family members & try to come up with something new each year.
I usually use glass ornaments as there are so many different things you can do, but after several years I was running out of ideas.
As I was working at my craft table I spotted a can of chalkboard paint & had that spark of creativity hit-so love when that happens!
I simply painted the ornaments in two coats of chalkboard paint & used sharpie paint pens in a fine point to decorate. I also like the ornament to be unique to each person-here are a few I came up with:
CHALKBOARD PAINT CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS
For my niece who just bought her first home:
For my son, who just finished his 2nd novel:
For my daughter, who just completed her first semester at College & made Dean’s List:
I think it’s just as important to present the gifts in a nice package as well & made a quick & easy box to hold them. I hope they like them!
