I’ve talked before about fall being my favorite time of year. I love the change in season and the beautiful fall foliage. There is nothing better than being able to open the windows to let the fresh air in-with no humidity! One of my favorite things to do on the blog is team up with other bloggers to share decorating ideas with you. That way when you visit, you not only see my decorating ideas, but you can easily visit the other bloggers as well!
Neutral Fall Tablescape With Metallics
Today is all about fall tablescapes. I shared an early fall tablescape here that had a sunflower and buffalo check theme. Today’s fall tablescape is much more neutral. Let me show you the details.
I started with pretty fall plaid placemats that I found at Big Lots for $2 a piece! Score! I love that they have blue in them, as that is a color I use in my home all year. For the chargers, my rustic wood slices make an appearance. These are my all time favorite chargers, as they are so versatile and go with pretty much anything. You can dress them up with elegant dishes too, like I showed here using my great grandmother’s china.
Bring In Metallics
Mixing metallics is a great way to bring in texture and interest. These mercury glass candleholders bring in a classic touch of elegance and dress up the gray dinner plates that are from the Dollar Store. You don’t have to spend a lot to set a pretty table! The cute little squirrel salt and pepper shakers are from the Dollar Store too. I couldn’t resist them.
It is always fun to have a little something for the dinner guests at each place setting. These cute little haybales are so sweet with a velvet pumpkin and nametag.

I love to use serving trays throughout the home. They can be used in so many different ways. For the centerpiece I used a gorgeous bamboo serving tray from Household Wonders that you can see here. Simply add faux white and silver metallic pumpkins, with a few real white pumpkins and you have a great centerpiece. This tray is made of high-quality bamboo and is also very functional. It is large enough to serve meals, drinks or snacks. I love the minimalist look too, don’t you? Plus, I have great news! You can save 35% off of this serving tray by entering OURCRAFTYMOM at checkout here.
I hope you enjoyed this fall tablescape and will check out all the rest of the fall tablescapes linked below. There is so much inspiration and every one is so unique! Enjoy!
If you are looking for a perfect fall drink to serve the over 21 guests, try out this Sparkling Apple Pie Cocktail. It’s so yummy!
