These cherry sweet rolls are mouth watering and you only need two ingredients! But, don’t tell your guests, they’ll never know!
Welcome to the March Pinterest Challenge Blog Hop, hosted by My Pinterventures. The purpose of this Pinterest Challenge is to motivate all the participants of this hop (and you too) to not just pin, but to make it happen!
For last month’s challenge I made Wine Glasses With Alcohol Ink. For this month I chose to make a recipe, Cherry Sweet Rolls Not Quite From Scratch from Shirley of Intelligent Domestications .
Here is the pin that inspired this:

I host a link party, Merry Monday, with Shirley and the minute I saw this photo I checked it out, as cherry pie is one of my Son’s favorite.
At first I figured it would be too difficult for me to make, as I am an average baker at best, lol.
But when I saw there were only two ingredients I was so happy! I could handle two ingredients 🙂 Here is the super simple recipe:
Delicious Cherry Sweet Rolls With Just Two Ingredients
Ingredients
- 2 Cans Of Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 Can Of Cherry Pie Filling
In the original pin, a cast iron skillet is used, but I didn’t have one so I just used a pie pan. Simply unroll the cinnamon rolls setting aside the icing.
Place the cinnamon rolls along the outer inside of the pan and continue this process until the pan is full. You can pinch the rolls so it is one continuous piece.
Add the cherry pie filling, using a fork to push some of the filling in between the layers. Then bake in a preheated oven at 375 degrees for about 35 minutes.
You guys, if you want an impressive dessert without a lot of effort-this is seriously it. My Son was hanging out in the dining room waiting for it to cool and as soon as the icing was added we both had a piece. Yum!
I plan to make these cherry sweet rolls for Easter, as I know my family will enjoy it. Thank you for stopping by!
