I put together a quick & easy tutorial for a cute diaper wreath perfect for a baby shower or new mom gift.
We have all seen the diaper cakes, which are great also, but I thought this wreath would look cute on the front door to greet guests as they arrive for the baby shower.
DIAPER WREATH TUTORIAL
You can buy a wire wreath form if you want, but I just cut out a circle form out of cardboard & then attached it to a silver charger plate that I had on hand, as it was not stable enough on its own.
I used 22 newborn diapers rolling them up hiding the Sesame Street characters-so cute & brought back so many great memories of my babies (now 24 & 18).
I wanted my niece to be able to use the diapers so I wrapped wide ribbon around each diaper using hot glue to secure it to the wreath base. That way she can actually just slide the diapers out.
Or she can use it as a decoration in the Nursery. I then filled in around the diapers with pink tulle, as well as hung the wreath with a tulle bow.
I used Modge Podge to add the darling baby girl graphic that I used for the thank you cards I showed last week. There you have it-
a quick & easy adorable baby shower gift & decoration!
