DIY Embroidery Hoop Winter Wreath

Make a beautiful winter wreath using an embroidery hoop and winter stems.

Now that Christmas is all packed away, I needed something to replace my Christmas Wreath. So I made a DIY Embroidery Hoop Winter Wreath to hang above my mantel.

DIY Embroidery Hoop Winter Wreath

Supplies

Embroidery Hoops 14-Inch
Decoart Ant Bronze Americana Decor Metallics
Hot Glue Gun
2 Large Winter Floral Stems
Faux Pine Stems

The gorgeous hydrangea stems have glitter on the leaves and blossoms and are so full and pretty. They were 80% off as was the faux pine stem. You can’t beat that!

This bronze metallic is my absolute favorite! It has great coverage and I only needed to give the embroidery hoop one coat of paint.

Start by hot gluing the pine stems across the lower half of the embroidery hoop. Then add the floral stems where you would like them.

I wasn’t sure if I wanted them to be in the center or to the side, but after positioning them both ways, I chose to go with the side.

You may need to use floral wire to make these more secure as they are so large.

Look how pretty the leaves are! All four were used around the base of the flowers.

I really love how it turned out and it literally cost under $10 and under 30 minutes to make! You can’t get much better than that!
