DIY Yarn Pom Pom Wreath

Sharing is caring!

I was browsing Pinterest (shocker) and saw a cool wreath made with yarn. It was in the Anthropologie catalog last year and I took inspiration from it to make my own DIY Pom Pom Wreath.  I left the Pom Pom’s longer, more of a rag wreath look. This is so easy to make and is really different and very warm. Here is a tutorial if you want to make your own.

I used two steins of Lion 640-178F Wool-Ease Thick & Quick Yarn , 97 Meters, Cilantro in Oatmeal. I finger knitted a large scarf first to cover a White Foam Wreath – Large. There are a ton of tutorials on YouTube to show you how to finger knit. It is very easy and a lot of fun! Then I wrapped yarn around my four fingers about 30 times and snipped the ends. Then tied a piece of yarn around the pieces and cut the lengths however I wanted to create the Pom Poms. You can leave them a little longer as shown here:

Or cut them short to make them more of a Pom Pom. Again, you can just search for Pom Pom videos if you are more of a visual person.
