Create a stunning DIY fall wreath by using two smaller foam wreaths.
I can’t wait to share this double DIY fall wreath with you! Now that we are finally getting cooler temperatures, I really wanted to change out the wreath on my front door.
But when I went to hang up the tired, old grapevine wreath I’ve had for years, it looked pretty sad. There were plenty of leaves & flowers in my stash to add to it, but it still looked like it needed more.
There were also a few of those small foam wreaths from The Dollar Tree in my craft closet. Just for the heck of it I grabbed one to see if it would fit in the center of the large grapevine wreath and it did!
Basically I decorated the small foam wreath on its own, then attached it to the large grapevine wreath with twine. Next, I hung it up while I continued to add more leaves and flowers around the base to make it symmetrical.
I really wanted a statement piece for the front door and this is definitely it! It is a very large, full wreath & I love it.
What a difference right? It actually looked fine with the glass door, but on the plain painted door, it just looked kind of boring.
The best part is I didn’t have to buy anything! Happy Fall!
