It’s time for another Craft Corner with my buddy Michelle James Designs. We are continuing with all things Christmas to give you lots of ideas for this Holiday Season! I am sharing Holiday Napkins.
I love to stamp unexpected items like fabric and coasters. As I was putting together my Christmas Tablescape, which I’ll be sharing soon, I thought it would be fun to have Holiday Napkins. Flour Sack towels make perfect napkins and are very reasonable. You can pick up a 4pk for $3.99 at Target which is less expensive than buying fabric napkins. Here is a quick and easy tutorial:
Supplies
4pk Flour Sack Kitchen Towels
Fabric Paint or Staz-On Ink Pad
Stamps of your choice
As I didn’t have fabric paint in the color I wanted, I added a fabric medium to acrylic paint. This is a great option and also less expensive. I wanted the image to look worn and aged, so I used a very light hand when stamping. This antique truck is one of my favorite Holiday stamps. I used it to make my wood slice ornaments here and thought it would be perfect for Holiday Napkins to use in my rustic glam Tablescape.

The fabric of these towels is a perfect medium for stamping and you can really get as creative as you want. Think of the cute Valentine’s Day Napkins you could make or Easter ones. Simply stamp the image where you want it on the fabric with a steady hand. I chose to add it to the bottom and stamped Merry Christmas below it.
I just love how they turned out and can’t wait to share my full Christmas Tablescape next week in a fun blog hop. Now head on over to Michelle’s and check out her fun project!
Thanks for visiting Our Crafty Mom. Have a great day!
