Let me show you how easy it is to make your own vintage looking no-sew patriotic tablecloth using bandanas from the Dollar Store for $6!
Welcome to Our Crafty Mom. I’m so excited to share the super simple tutorial for a no-sew patriotic tablecloth.
Plus I’m joining 10 other talented bloggers for a Fourth of July Blog Hop!
There is so much patriotic inspiration here that you are going to love. So let’s get started with the tablecloth. This is perfect for Labor Day and Memorial Day too!
You may have seen this beauty in the patriotic tablescape blog hop from last week, but I saved the tutorial for today so you can make your own.
The cool thing is, you can use bandanas in any colors and make it any size you like. Wouldn’t this make an adorable picnic blanket too if you made it a little larger?
I’ve mentioned before that I don’t sew-at all. Hopefully one day I will learn. It’s never too late, right? But, give me a glue gun and I can do serious damage!
Here is what you need to make your own tablecoth:

- 12 red, white and blue bandanas – sold 2 in a pack at the Dollar Store. They also had beautiful pink and teal ones-you know what that means, right?
- Hot Glue Gun – this cordless one is my favorite!
Step 1. Lay the bandanas out for measuring.
Lay the bandanas in alternating colors on the table you are making it for. That way you can keep adding bandanas until you are happy with the size and don’t need to measure. Easy peasy!
Step 2. Hot glue the bandanas
Start by hot glueing each bandana together in alternating colors. For this round table I used 12 bandanas.
Step 3. Continue with glueing.
Continue adding bandanas and hot glueing until you are happy with the placement. This would also make a great buffet tablecloth and you would probably need about 20 for that size.
Step 4. Marvel at your craftiness.
Enjoy your beautiful patriotic tablecloth made for a whopping $6 and about 20 minutes of your time! Stay tuned for a picture of my pink and aqua tablecloth!
Here is the completed tablecloth all decked out for the Fourth of July:

Such a clever idea and so festive. And this non-sewer loves the glue alternative!
