It’s no secret that I love to make ornaments. Embroidery hoops are one of my favorite things to use in crafting and I’ve never once embroidered!

You can see an embroidery hoop ornament I made with burlap here and an embroidery hoop wreath I made here.

My Christmas tree this year will be decorated in pinks and metallics, so I went with that color scheme for this ornament.

I love how it turned out and the best part is it was so simple and inexpensive.

Supplies

  • Bottle Brush Tree
  • 4″ Embroidery Hoop
  • Ribbon
  • Copper metallic paint
  • Hot Glue Gun – You can see my favorite cordless glue gun here.
Pink Tree Supplies

Instructions

Start by painting the embroidery hoop in a copper metallic paint, then hot glue a strip of ribbon across the center of the hoop.

I love the chocolate brown ribbon that I found in my stash. Cut a nice tail for the ends.

Next, hot glue the bottle brush tree to the bottom center of the embroidery hoop.

Close Up Pink Tree

Finish it off by attaching ribbon around the top of the hoop for hanging.

This is a simple, but pretty ornament and I can’t wait to show my completed blush and metallic tree next week!
