Learn how easy it is to make caramel apples using wraps and turn them into cute party favors.
Fall is hands down my favorite season. Living in New England you can’t help but look forward to it not only because of the fun fairs, festivals and outdoor events, but the fall foliage is just stunning.
This picture I took last year at my daughter’s college campus is one of my all time favorites:
Can you imagine walking by that everyday? Not a bad view, right? When I think of fall treats, caramel apples are one of the things to come to mind, along with pumpkin spice cake.
I’m sharing these easy caramel apples for the Craft Lightning Challenge, which means it has to be made in under 15 minutes. So I found a super simple way to make that happen.
Let me show you what you need so you can make your own caramel apple party favors.
How To Make Caramel Apples
- Caramel Apple Wraps
This is my first time using Caramel Apple Wraps and they make it so easy! I’ve used caramels in the past and these wraps are such a time saver.
One package includes five wraps and the sticks you need for the caramel apples. You can make 20 of these in no time. These would be perfect for a Halloween party!
You simply place the caramel wrap on top of the apple and stretch it over the apple.
You don’t have to cover the bottom, but it should be almost completely covered. The package even includes the parchment paper that you bake it on. You can’t get easier than that!
Next, place them on a baking pan in an oven pre-heated to 200 degrees. Bake for five minutes.
When they first come out of the oven, you can mold the caramel on the bottom of the apple if you want.
Let them cool completely and then you can wrap them.

Caramel Apples For Party Favors
I was a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator several years ago and used a rubber stamp and ink pad that I had in my stash.
Shipping paper from the Dollar Store works great as tags if you don’t want to buy them pre-made. Simply stamp on the paper and use a round punch or scissors to cut out the tag.
Wrap the caramel apple in the cellophane bag, tie it with twine and attach the tag with an adorable mini clothespin.
They are so cute and also can be used as party favors for Thanksgiving dinner. You could write a name on the clothespin and set one at each place setting like I show here:
