I hope you are not getting tired of the beach projects yet because I have one more for you! Today I am sharing an easy tutorial for beach themed clay wine glass charms using a candy mold.

I made up a bunch of candy in no time. Then when I was going to put the mold away inspiration struck! I thought it would be cute to have wine glass charms as well. Here is what I used:
Supplies
Beach Themed Candy Mold (similar)
Silver Jewelry Wire
Activa Clay Roller Kit
Air-dry clay
White Spray Paint
Clear Top Coat
As a lifelong crafter I enjoy trying new products and different ways to use them. This fun beach themed candy mold was found at the craft store for 50% off. The plan was to make candy favors for my daughter’s 21st birthday . This is perfect as she loves beach decor. These molds are great as not only are they easy to use, but also very easy to clean.
The clay rolling kit makes it so simple! I just took a portion of clay and rolled it out until it was a good thickness for the mold.
Sure enough, the clay worked like a breeze! I pressed a small amount into each mold and let it dry for several hours. I used a toothpick to add a hole to the top for the wire.
Next, I gave it a coat of white spray paint using my new Spray Shelter. I finished it off with a clear top coat and added the jewelry wire to attach them to the wine glasses.
These really are so cute for a beach themed party or summer barbecue. You can paint them any color you like and use them in so many different ways. This is my favorite clay to use because there is no baking involved. Simply let it air-dry and you are good to go!

Of course I couldn’t have a candy mold without making candy! How adorable are these little candies?
Here is a sneak peek of my coastal tablescape that I’ll be sharing in a blog hop next week. A tutorial for the starfish napkin rings can be found here.
