Hello and welcome to the patriotic tablescape blog hop hosted by my sweet friend Chloe from Celebrate and Decorate. It’s always fun to team up with this talented group of tablescapers and I seriously look forward to it every time.

I’m sure you will be inspired to create a patriotic tablescape for your home after seeing all this inspiration.

If you are visiting from Zucchini Sisters welcome! Isn’t Rebecca so talented? I had the pleasure of meeting her at a blogging conference last year and she’s just as sweet in person!

Patriotic Tablescape

With the Fourth of July right around the corner we are all sharing patriotic inspiration to inspire you to celebrate all things red, white and blue! The highlight of my tablescape is definitely the DIY tablecloth that was inspired by one I saw on Atta Girl Says here.

I will be sharing a tutorial for this Monday and the good news is it’s no-sew! I’ve talked before about my hope to someday learn to sew, but for now I can no-sew with the best of them!

Next up, I added pearl thrift store chargers with a beaded theme:

On one of my thrifting days, I was lucky enough to find a complete set of beaded dinnerware. It has a really cool crackle finish that you can see here:

This tablescape has a casual summer picnic feel to it with the bandana style tablecloth, so I kept the decor simple as well. One thing that I love to do for guests if have little treats at each place setting and what is more patriotic than cracker jack?

Did you know cracker jack  was first registered in 1896 and some consider it the first junk food? Who remembers going to a baseball game as a kid and getting a box but looking forward to the prize more than the snack? My sister and I would always end up trading!

The small dessert bowls are the perfect size to hold two jumbo chocolate covered strawberries. These are a nice treat and go well with the prosecco I plan to serve. We love fruit infused water and it also looks pretty on the table!

One of the things I try to share with decorating, is you don’t have to spend a lot to have a pretty home. Just about everything in this tablescape is from thrift stores.

Thank you so much for visiting.  For even more patriotic decorating ideas, you can check out this patriotic wreath  and my tablescape from last year here.
