I am sharing a fun gift basket with a Polar Express theme!
This movie brings back so many wonderful memories for me and hopefully my kids.
Every year we would take the Polar Express train to the “North Pole” to see Santa & Mrs Claus.
I believe they have this all over and it is so much fun-truly magical.
We would wear pajamas and have hot chocolate and cookies.
Once we reached the North Pole Santa & Mrs. Claus would board the train and read The Polar Express to everyone then give out a special box, which held the silver bell.
I love putting that on the tree every year.
I wanted to put together a special Polar Express Gift Basket for a family that is near and dear to my heart.
Of course, I can’t say who as it will ruin the surprise, but they have two little kiddos that I know will just love this.
Here is the finished project:
Polar Express Gift Basket
I found the beautiful Santa box at Hobby Lobby and filled it with paper shreds of red and white.
When we were in New Hampshire this past weekend Barnes & Noble just happened to be having a signing of the Polar Express!
So not only was I able to purchase the beautiful 30 year Anniversary Edition of the book, but it is a signed copy!
I then picked up the Polar Express DVD and placed them in the box.
Next, I bought a “silver bell” and placed it in a beautiful box and put that in the package as well.
Now, you can’t have a Polar Express Gift Basket without cookies and milk for Santa so I used my Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine to make a Cookies for Santa plate and Milk for Santa mug.
These fit perfectly in the box along with a Mason jar filled with hot chocolate and christmas cookies so they are all ready to have a movie night.
Now hop on over to visit Pam at p.s. i love you crafts to see her beautiful Christmas ornaments.
Thanks for visiting Our Crafty Mom. Happy Holidays!
