Set A Romantic Tablescape For Two For Valentine’s Day
When I think of a romantic tablescape for two, I think of candles, champagne, comfort food and dessert! As I don’t have a sweetheart for Valentine’s Day, I made a romantic dinner for my 26 yo son Derek, and his girlfriend Jackie. They are young and this is their first Valentine’s Day together, so I went with a fun and playful setting. Pink and white paper hearts were used to create a runner.
Thrift store dishes with soft shades of pink and lavender paired with silver chargers were a perfect match for this tablescape.
To set a romantic dinner for two, the place settings were arranged side by side with a comfy faux fur bench for seating. Pink champagne was a must have!

Bright pink spider mums were placed in a footed milk glass bowl.
Nothing says comfort food like homemade chicken pot pie-it is one of my Son’s favorites!
How about a strawberry cake for dessert?
A romantic dinner has to have chocolate covered strawberries right?
Hopefully this simple and playful setting gave you some inspiration to set a romantic tablescape for your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day! I am the last stop for today, but be sure to visit Bluesky At Home tomorrow who will start out the days tablescapes. Happy Valentine’s Day!
