As I live in New England, we are used to cold winters, but this year just seemed like such a long season. So it makes the start of Spring so much more appreciated!
I really couldn’t wait to decorate for Spring so lets get to my tablescape!
It has kind of a garden theme with the moss and wood slice chargers. What do you think-rustic garden?
I usually start with a jumping off point and for me it all began with the “chocolate” clay bunny napkin holders that I shared here.
The same rubber stamp was used on the DIY fabric napkins and before I knew it, I was going with a bunny theme! Since I host Easter, this will also be a perfect setting for Easter dinner.

While I love to decorate for each season and Holiday, I am also mindful of my budget.
Therefore, I try to not only craft items to keep costs down, but also repurpose items-like the water bottles used as bud vases in this tablescape.
They are the perfect shade of blue and green and just the right size to hold a single tulip.
The three tiered tray cost $6 to make from Dollar Store cake pans and candleholders.
I will be sharing a tutorial for this tiered tray tomorrow.
My daughter and I had fun decorating eggs while she was home on Spring Break.
We used a gold leaf kit for the eggs and I just love them-although she did insist on coloring eggs with the good old fashioned egg coloring kit like when she was a kid!
Four different bunny salad plates were used in this tablescape. They were purchased at the craft store for 40% off! Simple white dinner plates and my favorite
How darling is this little guy? I think he is my favorite. He reminds me of my kids favorite Easter book, Peter Rabbit.
The blue egg cups also hold a single tulip and are the perfect greeting for guests. The tulips were purchased from Trader Joe’s.
Have you seen their flower selection? They have such a great variety and are very reasonably priced!
They are my go to store for flowers when I want to treat myself to the real deal!
