Hello friends! Thank you for visiting! I love to participate in Blog Hops as you really get to know-virtually anyway-so many wonderful bloggers who love decorating like you do! Today is a fun Winter Home Tour Blog Hop hosted by the lovely Amy of My Life From Home .
If you’ve visited here before you know I tend to gravitate towards Farmhouse Style, at least that’s what I think it is. I like to use neutrals and pops of color. One of my favorite things to decorate seasonally is the mantel. I shared my Winter Mantel here

Lots of silver, Mercury glass and white. It’s a little rustic glam with the touches of wood and nature.
The wood slice Winter banner is a DIY project you can find here and the snowy wreath here It’s one of my favorite DIY wreaths. Would you believe this cost under $5 to make? It just looks like clouds of snow to me!
These beautiful Olive Buckets from Painted Fox Home look so pretty at night with lights inside.
The cotton Stems are such a classic farmhouse look in Olive buckets and I use them throughout the house.
This cotton Wreath is one of my most popular tutorials shared here and was featured on Craft Gawker . It was so cool to be featured there.
Winter is all about cozying up with a comfy throw and a good book, maybe with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. This chair is “mom’s chair” and is my favorite spot to do just that! Sorry for the bad photo. I snapped this at night and the light was terrible. The Pom-Pom throw is from Homegoods.
For the coffee table I like to keep it simple as this is our main hangout space for watching television, so I don’t like to obstruct the view! The lantern looks so pretty at night with the fairy lights. My Dad found the antler sheds in the woods for me and I spray painted them silver.
For some reason, I love chalkboards. It is fun to write on them for special occasions or seasonal things like this fun little snowman. He just makes me smile! I always kept a large chalkboard in the kitchen when my kids were little and my daughter told me recently that she loved to see what I would write on it. Of course for their birthday it would be a huge happy birthday banner for them. Little things like that mean alot once your kids are grown. Mine are 25 & 20 now so I greatly cherish those memories.
Now, we live in New England so you know we have lots of cold & snow days. What better thing to have than a hot cocoa station. I set this up right after Christmas and we all look forward to it. You can find so many great kinds of hot chocolate now.
I hope you enjoyed this Winter Tour. Be sure to check out all the other bloggers participating in this fun Hop. The links are below. You will not want to miss this! Have a great day!

Your mantel looks beautiful Michelle! Those olive buckets and that owl pillow are fantastic. I also really like your hot cocoa station :).
