BEACH INSPIRED BATHROOM

I have not done anything to the little guest bathroom in the Townhouse since moving in. To be honest, it is very tiny & I really didn’t have much inspiration to fix it up, then I saw this beautiful beach inspired sign at Kohl’s & inspiration struck! I thought just because it is tiny, doesn’t mean it can’t be pretty-so I got to work & now I love it! It actually makes me smile now when I enter!  Knowing how I am, with a go big or go home attitude-I figured I was really going to go with the beach theme! So, I started with the window & made an awesome burlap fabric strip curtain with a garland of seashells & starfish. I simply tied it to the curtain rod hooks that were already hanging. I also used twine for the shell garland & picked up the starfish & shells at Michael’s with a 40% off coupon as a bag was pretty pricey. I found the perfect shade of blue rug & then had fun making different beach themed decorations.  I was also inspired by

tutorials. My string art Seahorse found a home on top of the shelf & the colors blend great eventhough I made this long before I knew my plans for it! So sometimes all it takes is a little inspiration to make your least favorite space one of your favorite spaces!
