I love making handmade gifts during the Holiday season and last year made several beaded Holiday wreaths. They are simple & inexpensive, but make a very nice gift & you can tailor them to match the recipients decor.
Beaded Christmas Wreath Supplies
I made one in red & gold here:
And all gold here:
I used two different size wreath bases both from The Dollar Tree. The top is a smaller 8″ foam base & the bottom is a 10″ base.
It seems silly to do a tutorial, but to show how easy it is, you simply hot glue one end of the bead to the base, wrapping it around.
I do hot glue every couple of inches or so to ensure it doesn’t fall apart. You can make it as many layers as you like, but want to ensure it covers the base.
Mine were green & you don’t want any of that showing! I love the fancy gold/white beads shown above, but they are a little pricey.
You can find beads at The Dollar Tree to keep costs down. Have fun with it & use whatever color combination you like!
I have a silver/white theme going on this year, so plan to make one for myself in that combination next.
