Did you know the Cricut can cut burlap sheets? I was so happy when I spotted 12 x 12 burlap sheets at the craft store in pretty Spring colors. Seriously, this was so easy to make! The hardest thing was deciding what type of bunny I wanted! I signed up for Cricut Access which is such a great deal! When I searched bunny about 150 choices came up! I decided to go with a silhouette style. One of the reasons that I went with the Cricut Air is I routinely work on an iPad & the Air works off of Bluetooth, which I love! You don’t have to hook it up to a computer, plus they have an iPad app! Once I got started, I had so much fun creating. I bought a 12 x 16 canvas & cut the bunny at 5 x 11. I used a Sharpie Paint Pen to highlight the leg & eyes. I decided to add a small card stock banner across the top with contrasting colors. This project was finished in under 30 minutes! Of course, I had to make a pink one too! How cute would these look in a nursery? I added a cotton ball for the tail with hot glue.
Of course, I kept right on creating! It is a little addictive once you start! You literally can search any image & most likely it will be there! I made a banner for my mantel, but can’t share it yet. Please come back 3/5 when I will share my Spring Mantel & 9 of my blogger friends Spring Mantels! I have already seen some & you are in for a treat! Thank you so much for visiting Our Crafty Mom!
